Question (En)
Where can you observe migratory birds in Nicaragua?
Answer (En)
Nicaragua is a popular destination for observing migratory birds, thanks to its strategic geographic location on the migration route of many species. One of the best places to watch migratory birds in Nicaragua is the Laguna de Apoyo Natural Reserve, a water-filled volcano crater that attracts a wide variety of water and land birds. Another notable place is the Los Guatuzos Wildlife Refuge, located on the San Juan River, where you can find a wide variety of birds, including herons, egrets, storks, and migratory waterfowl such as the pichichi duck. Additionally, the R&&i&&o San Juan Biosphere Reserve and the El Jaguar Private Wildlife Reserve are also excellent places for observing migratory birds in Nicaragua.
