One of the places in the Amazon rainforest of Peru famous for its wildlife sanctuary is the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve. This reserve, located in the Loreto region, is the largest national reserve in Peru and one of the largest protected areas in the Amazon. Pacaya-Samiria is known for its impressive biodiversity and for being home to a wide variety of plant and animal species, many of which are in danger of extinction. The Pacaya-Samiria Wildlife Sanctuary offers visitors the opportunity to experience the beauty and tranquility of the Amazon rainforest, as well as observe animal species up close in their natural habitat.
