In Colombia, there are several flora and fauna sanctuaries that are notable for their unique biodiversity. One of the best known is the Ot&&u&&n Quimbaya Fauna and Flora Sanctuary, located in the department of Risaralda, which is home to species such as the spectacled bear, the Andean condor and the howler monkey. Another important sanctuary is the Malpelo Fauna and Flora Sanctuary, in the Pacific Ocean, famous for being a meeting point for marine species such as hammerhead sharks, manta rays and dolphins. In the department of Amazonas is the Cahuinar&&i&& Fauna and Flora Sanctuary, home to species such as the jaguar, the pink dolphin and a wide variety of birds and fish.
