Question (En)
Where can manatees be seen in their natural habitat?
Answer (En)
Manatees can be observed in their natural habitat in several locations in the United States, especially in Florida. In Florida, places like Crystal River, Homosassa Springs and Blue Spring State Park are known to be congregating areas for manatees during the winter months, when the colder waters of the Gulf of Mexico drive them to seek warmer water in the rivers and freshwater springs in the region. These locations offer unique opportunities to observe manatees from viewing platforms, boat rides, or even swimming and diving with them in controlled environments. In addition to Florida, other places where manatees can be seen in their natural habitat include the coastal waters of Louisiana, Texas, and the Carolinas, as well as in some parts of the Caribbean and Central America.
