Question (En)
What is the indigenous population of Paraguay?
Answer (En)
The indigenous population of Paraguay is approximately 112,000 people, which represents around 1.7% of the country's total population. The main indigenous groups in Paraguay are the Guaran&&i&&, who are divided into several subgroups such as the Ava, Pa&&i&&, Mby&&a&& and Ach&&e&&, among others. The Guaran&&i&& are the largest indigenous population in Paraguay and have had a profound influence on the country's culture and identity. In addition to the Guaran&&i&&, there are also other indigenous communities in Paraguay, such as the Enxet and the Ayoreo. These indigenous communities have faced significant challenges in terms of human rights, access to land and preservation of their culture and traditions. In recent years, efforts have been made to protect and promote the rights of indigenous communities in Paraguay.
