Nuquí is an exotic destination located on the Colombian Pacific coast, ideal for lovers of nature and the tranquility of surprising settings. Nuquí is a Colombian municipality in the department of Chocó, 184 km from Quibdó, capital of the department. Strategically located in the Colombian North Pacific.

*Its main attraction is the wealth of natural spaces, where sea and jungle combine as well as extensive virgin beaches, making this destination the ideal place to enjoy incredible sunsets. 
*It is a municipality where it is always hot, because the average temperature is between 28 and 30 degrees, although it rains constantly, that is part of the magic it offers to its visitors. 
*Waterfalls, crystalline rivers, secluded beaches and hot springs mix with the diversity of bird, eptile and amphibian species, and whale watching.

*It is essential to have the yellow fever vaccine. Make sure you have it to enter Nuquí, and bring the card with the vaccination schedule. 
*Bring light cotton clothing, pants, shorts, long-sleeved and short-sleeved shirts, shoes that can get wet, tennis shoes, and a swimsuit. 
*For sports lovers, there is no shortage of activities in Nuqui! Discover underwater fauna by diving or snorkeling. Attention: this is not for beginners! 
You can also practice surfing. From June to October, if you're lucky, you can even surf alongside whales. You can also kayak and practice other water sports, such as deep-sea fishing. 
 tip: do not hesitate to go into the jungle during an excursion, to discover the exceptional flora and fauna.

How do you get to the place? 
The Department of Chocó has a somewhat backward infrastructure in terms of land roads, and this is because it has jungles with thick vegetation, swampy terrain and inclement rains almost all year round. Therefore, the best ways to reach this destination is by air or sea. 
If you decide to travel by air, you can take a charter flight from cities like Medellín, Bogotá or Quibdó. One positive thing about traveling by air is that you can enjoy the incredible and majestic Darién Jungle.

*Canoeing on the Jovi River 
Chocó is rich in water sources and Nuquí is no exception. If your plans include enjoying the ungle, you can tour the Jovi River by canoe or kayak and enjoy the impressive landscape of the Chocó jungle. 
*LOVE WATERFALL 
It is a 20-minute walk in the middle of the jungle next to the river. Under the waterfall, there is a  meter deep well. 
*The UTRIA NATIONAL NATURAL PARK is a unique and magical place. For us, it is the first thing we should visit during your stay in the Pacific. The Park, which is home to rainforest, coral reefs, estuaries, mangroves and the ocean, has one of the most diverse ecosystems and biodiversity in the world. However, it is also one of the most fragile ecosystems on the planet. 
The park covers 54,300 hectares and is made up of coral reefs with very few sandy beaches. The jungle almost reaches the seashore. African-American and mestizo communities live in the park, as well as ancestral indigenous communities, such as the Embá and the Kuna.
